Find These Unique Materials For Round Bathtubs

    in The Success Forum

The Corner Whirlpool Bathtubs is a unique way to bring the "wow" factor to your bathroom. They can take a simple bathroom and transform it into the ultimate spa experience, both in function and style. While not always designed for small bathrooms, round models make the perfect centerpiece for an oversized master bath or main bathroom.

And if you are going to make a statement in this functional part of the house, why not go all the way and choose a unique material too? Here are the pros and cons of the three-out-of-the-common bathtub material for the round model.

    Sophisticated materials and round bathtubs

Wood: Wooden creates the perfect spa environment in any bathroom. This is a unique bathtub material that would make a good focal point, buy wooden bathtubs come with some dangers. Despite careful waterproofing and using the best materials, wood can eventually warp, crack, or rot. If you are not worried about those possibilities, then you may want to install a waterproof floor as a precaution. You will also need to check the local building code; Wooden bathtubs do not meet building requirements in some areas.

Stones: Stone tubs are another natural material that can help bring in from outside. The stone round bathtubs work originally in a neutral setting or stand out in a colorful landscape. They can be extra polished inside and out or can be finished on the inside but left in a more natural state on the outside. Either way, stone tubs require more attention to maintenance than other materials. Some stones may be stained or damaged by harsh chemicals. If you are a low maintenance person, make sure to pay attention to the type and maintenance of the stone before purchasing. If it doesn't mean much to you, then follow the manufacturer's instructions to keep the stone in good shape in function and appearance, for years to come.

Stainless Steel: Stainless steel is probably not the first material that comes to your mind when thinking about a bathroom. But stainless steel is expanding beyond the kitchen these days and venturing into other rooms including bathrooms. If you are going out on a design organ with a round model bathtub, then why not make it an edge with an industrial material? The stainless steel round bathtub has many advantages, including easy maintenance and damage control, and maintaining a warmer temperature than other materials for a hot water bath experience. Some stainless tubes are coated on the outside with a different color for a stimulating contrast. Stainless tubs are rare, so customization may be necessary.

If you like to sit on the cutting edge of interior design and don't want to leave your master bathroom behind, pay attention to your bathtub. Choosing a unique shape and material will get attention and can set the stage for other bathroom accessories. Be bold with a round bathtub in wood, stone, or stainless steel materials.
