AWS CloudFront Private Pricing Partner has edge locations globally. The cost of each edge location differs hence the price charged varies depending on the edge location from which CloudFront serves your requests.
However, edge locations are grouped into geographic regions, and hence, they've grouped regions into price classes.
The default price class includes global regions. and another price class incorporates areas such as the United States; Europe; Canada; Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, and Singapore; Honk Kong; India; South Africa, and Middle East regions, excluding the expensive areas.
On the other hand, a third price class includes non-expensive regions like Canada, the United States, and European regions. AWS CloudFront Pricing Private Partner acknowledges requests for objects based only on performance: objects assists from the edge location rendering the lowest latency rate for the viewer.
If the user accepts higher latency for their viewers in some geographic regions in tabulation for lower cost, a price class with fewer CloudFront regions will be the best fit.
Although CloudFront serves objects only from the edge locations that have a low latency rate in that price class. Therefore, viewers, especially those in geographic regions that are not included in the price class, might face higher latency rates.
