Athlete Pharm Keto Reviews :The Atkins diet may be a distant memory for a lot of us, but the thing about once-popular fads? And along with low-rise jeans of the early 2000s, another craze making a comeback is the low carb lifestyle — this time, in the form of the ketogenic diet. The OG plan relies on a finely calibrated equation of carbs, fat, and protein in order to generate ketones. If you start messing with the math, it’s pretty easy to boot yourself out of ketosis. The diet requires that you severely slash some of the very foods that nutritionists urge us to eat more of, namely fiber-rich whole grains and high-fiber fruits like apples and bananas.

“Ketosis used to be considered abnormal, but it can actually be very healthy,” Westman says. The classic KD is composed primarily of fat (80-90%), with the remainder filled in with protein (8%-15%) and, to a minimal degree, carbohydrates (2%-5%). The goal is to mimic the body's state during fasting without impairing its ability for growth.

Its proponents argue that a carefully controlled ketogenic diet can avoid the dangers of ketoacidosis and be an effective way to lose weight. The ketogenic diet should be low in carbohydrates, moderate in proteins and contain high amounts of fats.
